The Venture ZG Hover Pad is a grade 3 Flight block manufactured by Venture. Like all Venture blocks, it can be crafted with a Venture Fabricator.
It has 2 attachment point(s) and takes up 2 cell(s).
Usage[ | ]
Being intended to support light techs or act as wheels in other cases, the ZG Hover pad offers great thrust and the mass isn't so great in return. It allows fast designs that are rapid and light, and on techs that include it, not a large quantity. However, that's about it. Like most hover pads it lacks good control, and requires additional adjustment thrusters in order to function properly. The capacity is also a problem, where with more mass, most hover pads from other corps will generally perform better in carrying a tech around.
Trivia[ | ]
- The ZG Hover Pad, Powerlift Hover Pad, and the Flying Fortress Hover Pad are the only Hovering flight blocks manufactured by their respective corporations. (Venture, GeoCorp, Hawkeye)
- It cannot be turned off on it's own unless one keeps holding down the "reduce hover force" key, which is ironic to the description.
- This item used to be known as the Venture Zero Gravity Hover Pad (or something similar, citation needed), likely a reference to notable community contributor ZeroGravitas. The "ZG" in its modern name appears to simply be a shortened form of its previous name.
