Trees are the most common interactable objects in the game. They come in many shapes and colors, depending on the Biome you find them in.

Korubirch and Shroom Trees can be found in Grasslands. Salami Trees can be found in the Mountains and the Pillars Biome. Cloud Trees are found in the deserts. They aren't found anywhere else.

When harvested, Trees can drop two different resources: Fibrewood Chunks and Rubber Jelly. Fibrewood is more common than Rubber.

Rubber Jelly and Rubber Bricks can be used mostly to craft wheels and other blocks while Fibrewood Chunks and Fibron Chunks can be used as fuel sources in furnace generators and can also be used to create a variety of light blocks.

Resource Information[]

Fibrewood Chunk[]

Fibrewood Chunk
Fibrewood Chunk
The brown triangle resource known as Fibrewood.
value: 6 ฿฿

Lore
Dr. Tony Penev, a biologist, was first to identify and study the properties of much of the flora of this region, including this type of wood. Unfortunately it also happened to be the last specimen he identified, as he was blinded after looking directly into the beam of the COIL Laser that he was using to collect samples with. Penev is now retired and enjoys reading and playing computer games.

The Fibrewood Chunk is a very common resource mostly used as fuel in furnace generators. It has a value of 6 ฿฿ making it the least valuable resource in the game. Even putting it in generators would worth more.

The energy output, time and rate by said resource are shown in the table below

Fibron Chunk[]

Fibron Chunk
Fibron Chunk
The refined resource from Fibrewood.
value: 9 ฿฿

The Fibron Chunk is the refined version of the Fibrewood Chunk. It has a value of 9 ฿฿ making it the second least valuable resource in the game and the least valuable refined resource in the game.

It is mostly used as a fuel in Furnace Generators and GSO blocks.

The energy output, time and rate by said resource are shown in the table below

Rubber Jelly[]

Rubber Jelly
Rubber Jelly
The brown oval resource known as Rubber Jelly.
value: 12 ฿฿

Rubber Jelly has value of 12 ฿฿. It is used mainly for making small wheels.

Rubber Brick[]

Rubber Brick
Rubber Brick
The refined resource from Rubber Jelly
value: 18 ฿฿

Rubber Brick is a resource used mainly for wheels. It is a common resource with a value of 18 ฿฿. It is the second least valuable refined resource and the 4th least valuable resources in the game.

The Rubber Brick is useful for wheel blocks and certain types of light blocks.

Types of Trees[]

Name Biomes Description
Grasslands These trees are common to the grassland areas of the planet. First identified by botanist, Anton Korubov.
Grasslands This tree gets its name from its mushroom like canopy.
Desert A lovely tree in the desert. The canopy reminds me of someone. I can't think who.
Mountains, Alien Pillars The canopy looks a bit like slices of salami. But it's not made of salami, that would be crazy.
Wasteland This tree is lifeless.

Tips[]

  • Trees, along with the two resources associated with them, are regenerative. When trees are cut down, usually it will re-grow somewhere within the next day. If a player-placed Tech is blocking the location when a tree is supposed to grow, it instead appears instantly when the Tech is moved.
    • Rubber, Fiberwood, and Luxite are the only 3 resources in the entire game that are renewable.
  • If you are planning to autosell Tree products, consider processing them into Fibre Plating and Rugged Fiblar components first, since it would increase their sell price by another 30% and add only 2 Factories to an anchored build.
