Description
This compact Hawkeye solar panel is perfect for small covert operation Techs without much space. When anchored, the solar plates fold out in a horizontal fashion and produce electricity for your Tech.

The Hawkeye Solar Panel is a grade 2 power block manufactured by Hawkeye. Like all Hawkeye blocks, it can be crafted with a Hawkeye Fabricator.

Usage

The Hawkeye Solar Panel is an alternative solar power option to the GSO Tall Solar Generator, as it takes up double the space, but produces double the power as well. It just needs an external anchor to support it. Without batteries, it can still power shields and repair bubbles, but the excess energy will be wasted instead of being converted to electricity, and shields/repair bubbles will not be sustainable if their abilities come into play or if night falls - They will simply shut down due to a lack of electricity.

It is usually a good idea to attach multiple high-capacity batteries (GeoCorp Battery Packs are ideal for bases) to it and protect it with repair bubbles and shields, therefore maximizing the generator's ability during the day while sustaining it in the night. Power depots can be forged with just a few more chargers.

The Hawkeye Solar Panel can function in any orientation, given the tech is anchored by something else. The panels being in the shade has no effect on the power output.
