Description
The 'M4' is a continuous track tread set built with kevlar bi-weave for strength, flexibility and grip. Unlike steel tread tracks, with links that often need manual repair, this tread has a built-in molten fabric repair unit that top up worn sections of tread whilst in motion. The M4 is a versatile medium track, larger than the PX but smaller than TT12.

The Hawkeye M4 Medium Track is a grade 2 Wheel block manufactured by Hawkeye. Like all Hawkeye blocks, it can be crafted with a Hawkeye Fabricator.

Usage

Being a well-balanced track built for combat, it has good versatility, as it's size is not too large for techs that could use it. The symmetrical design augments with it's abundance of APs. This, combined with it's moderate capacity and durability, allows for powerful techs that still moves at reasonable speeds with also good grip too. There are virtually no downsides to this track, except that there must be sufficient spacing between the tracks on both sides, as tracked vehicles would turn poorly otherwise. It's also not a good idea to use it with wheels because wheels often are faster than tracks, but will be slower because the tracks prevent the tech from going any faster.

Trivia

• Despite the description, none of the wheel blocks (nor tracks) can wear out after sustained usage (without taking damage from weapons).
  • The self-repair track function is present also in the PX Small Track and the TT12 Big Track.
