Soured the mood, The peasants did brood, L'Orange emerged, lead revolts most deserved, Our hero the rogue of Sanguine. That is the tale of King Gravy the Stale, And how he lost his Lemon Kingdom. |

Lore of the Lemon Kingdom[ | ]
Once upon a twitch stream, long long ago ....
over the course of many streams, combatdude begged Sai Wun to add a lemon to the game in honor of a mysterious "Lemon Kingdom". Sai was confused at first, but he soon found this amusing and proposed a challenge to combatdude. If he could convince 5 people to proclaim "All Hail The Lemon King!!!" during the course of a single twitch stream, Sai would consider adding a lemon to the game.
Some may feel that such a feat would be easy. But we soon realized that it would be much harder then one might think ... Sai Wun himself tallied the pledges at first, while BitMage kept count when he wasn't present. BitMage can hardly recall how many streams it took. At least a week had passed, or maybe even two. But out of sheer curiosity, they continued to keep count. Something about combatdude's tenacity was interesting, and it seemed to be contagious to the other viewers. Eventually...
On April 6th, seven people were moved to proclaim "All Hail The Lemon King!". Everyone was shocked, for combatdude had finally done it. The chat went crazy, and some say even the streamers were fascinated. It would not be long until Combatdude would reap the rewards of his labor and we would see it's form as the legendary lemon block you see above.
Meanwhile, BitMage felt moved to mark a place in commemoration for this crazy event in the forums. He wrote ...
"Done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the first council of Lemon Lords & Ladies, in the presence of Payload's prevailing powers that be, on this the Sixth Day of April in the Year of our Lemon two thousand and sixteen by the will of the people, the Lemon Kingdom proclaims establishment." I included the names of the seven whom made the first full proclamation, and for fun i called them the "first council of lemon lords and ladies." And it just sort of gained a life of its own from there. We have had many kings and a queen. Each has left their mark on the kingdom in some way or another. The council of lemon lords and ladies has changed many times as well. All Citrizens of the lemon kingdom are eligible to become the king/queen or hold a seat at the council.
