Description
A block made out of compressed >resource< for ease of transportation. Produces 120 >refined resources< when scrapped.

The Geocorp Resource Blocks is a group of Geocorp grade 3 resource manufacturing blocks designed for the bulk storage of refined resource chunks in the inventory. There is one variation for each resource type in the game. They are counterparts to the GSO Resource Blocks, the Venture Resource Blocks, the Hawkeye Reource Blocks and the Better Future Resource Blocks and have the overall highest storage capacity, being composed of 120 refined resources each.

The GeoCorp Resource Blocks have bounding boxes of 12 cells (2x3x2) each and have eight APs, four on either 2x2 end face. At 12 cells, they store 10 resources per cell, the most space efficient of any resource block.

They, like all GeoCorp blocks, can be crafted with the GeoCorp Fabricator, and the component resource chunks retrieved through scrapping.

Tips

• Resource Blocks should be stored in the inventory via an SCU or by despawning allied techs they are attached to in order to keep them and the resources they store safe, as when destroyed, the vast amounts of resources they are composed of are lost.
• GeoCorp Resource Blocks in particular may be unwieldy for small crafting setups, easily filling a GSO Mixed Lotsa Silo with more to spare. As such, it may be wise to purchase or craft other corporations' smaller resource blocks for crafting, such as their GSO or Venture counterparts. GeoCorp Resource Blocks can be useful instead for applications where a large amount of resources is required over a long period or for large surges of resources that must be secured quickly.
  • One example is to generate power via a furnace generator. This can be particularly effective on mobile techs equipped with GSO Mobile Furnace Generators, as Scrappers will still produce the necessary resources even when on the move. A pacemaker may be used to reduce the rate of such a setup further, allowing just one resource block to last an extremely long time.
  • Another example is to quickly package large amounts of resources harvested over a long period, specifically those from Autominers.

Trivia

The GeoCorp Celestian Block is currently the most valuable block in the game with a cost of ฿฿ 86,400. The second and third most valuable blocks are the GeoCorp Erudian Block and Ignian Block.
