The GSO Fixed Anchor is an anchor manufacturing block, useful for anchoring your tech.
It has 5 Attachment Points, one for every side except the bottom, where the anchoring piton stems from. Anything attached to the GSO Fixed Anchor while it is anchored will be considered anchored, for the purposes of things like delivery cannons or furnace generators, meaning they will function. A GSO Fixed Anchor is anchored if an anchoring piston is visibly extending from its base into the ground. It can be anchored by being placed onto the ground or by pressing the 'anchor tech' button when it is in range and reasonably upright.
It, like all GSO blocks, can be crafted with a GSO Fabricator.
Notes[]
- The GSO Fixed Anchor has an excellent HP:volume ratio meaning it can be used as a form of armour without reducing surface AP density too much.
- The GSO Fixed Anchor can be used as a '5-way bracket' to supplement bracket systems from GeoCorp, Venture and Hawkeye. (Credit to Zargn for concept.)
