Description
The Better Future eCab is the ultimate in Cab only freedom. It hovers, it moves around (sort of), it even has laser guns! Pew! pew! pew! Take that other Corporations!

The Better Future eCab is a grade 1 Control block manufactured by Better Future. Like all Better Future blocks, it can be crafted with a Better Future Fabricator.

It has 6 attachment point(s) and takes up 4 cell(s).

Usage[]

This is quite a versatile cab on its own, accounting for its decent overall performance well exceeding that of any other control block, only evenly matched by the Better Future AI Module. It's integrated hover pads and gyros are the best part of it, as it can easily remain stability. While it might have problems scaling inclines, that is the problem of every known cab, so it is not really an issue. eCab is the fastest cab in game, easily reaching 70 mph, albeit has some over-steering issues inherent to hovers.

On the other hand, using it as a typical control block is extremely ineffective due to how much space it occupies for the low fuel capacity and the fact that all advantages it offers will be entirely lost if you forged your tech from different parts, and as for the hovering, you could use other flight block to compensate the lack thereof.

Like all cabs when it explodes it only pushes blocks away, dealing no damage

Trivia[]

  • It and the Better Future AI Modules are the first control blocks that are capable of technical flight due to it's integrated hover pads. They are also the first ones to feature integrated Gyros, as they will correct themselves while being overturned.
  • Despite the description, it is not the first control block to include lasers.
  • The mounted lasers don't seem to fire over armor plates.
  • When switching to a tech that has this cab attached, the game will play a unique chime.
  • Despite being an obvious hovercraft, the eCab's default control scheme is still that of a standard grounded vehicle.
