Description
This Plasma Furnace generator burns fuel chunks to produce electricity. This generator can burn any refined or unrefined chunks (no components though). It won't give you the best return in terms of energy produced on whatever you burn, but it's not picky, it will burn pretty much any resource chunks.

The Better Future Plasma Furnace Generator is a grade 1 Power block manufactured by Better Future. Like all Better Future blocks, it can be crafted with a Better Future Fabricator.

Usage

The Better Future Furnace Plasma Generator is the ultimate replacement for anyone seeking a powerful Anchored Generator. The main gimmick is it's ability to burn ALL resource chunks. It will not burn component chunks, as they are not technically considered resources. While this might not necessarily be a useful addition to most bases, it makes excellent use of any excess resource chunks you might have. The most important thing, however, is that it takes much less time to burn fuel. For example, the GeoCorp Anchored Furnace Generator can produce 29850 units of energy with a single Carbius Brick, but takes 50 seconds just to burn a single Chunk. The Better Future Plasma Furnace Generator produces 13650 units of energy with the same quantity of resources and only takes around 15 seconds, which, by rate, much faster than the GeoCorp Generator. The downside of it is that electricity generation is made more costly due to the increased consumption rate, which is easily brushed off if you've got the resources to spare. Overall, the generator is about high investment and high profit - It will eat up a lot of your most valuable resource chunks fast, but if you let it, it's the fastest way to get electricity.

Trivia

• This block existed as an nonfunctional experimental block for several months before the Developers implemented its functionality and added it to the Better Future corporation when it was teased, making it the oldest block from BF.
• Despite capable of burning every resource chunk, the description still says that it burns fuel chunks to produce electricity, even though in reality it's able to burn a lot more than that.
• Even though it is a plasma furnace generator and produces electricity, it requires Fuel Injectors.
  • These may be required to begin the initial reaction that produces the plasma required to melt down materials. Although plasma reactions are usually catalyzed with electricity, there must be some material to ionize which may be provided by the Fuel Injectors.
