| The Air Receiver is first of all a great receiver, but it can also be mounted on a flying Tech and grab chunks that have been shot up towards it by a delivery cannon from below. It's a fairly neat way to get chunks up to a floating base, (it's also a sneaky trick to play on rival prospectors). |
The Better Future Air Receiver is a grade 2 Manufacturing block manufactured by Better Future. Like all Better Future blocks, it can be crafted with a Better Future Fabricator.
It has 3 attachment point(s) and takes up 25 cell(s).
Usage[]
Similar to all other receivers, it is able to pick up loose resource chunks/components that are either held by the collector on an allied Tech or on nearby ground, so they can be transported to other production blocks.
The Better Future Air Receiver can hold 12 items in 3 stack of 4 and has a pick up range of around 12-13 blocks (from pads, the ring itself is inert). In addition, it can intercept items that were sent from Delivery Cannons by internal 9 cells of the ring, up to a height of 24 cells. Intercepted items will instantly lose momentum and will fall back to the ground if receiver is full.
While receivers can be used on moving techs Better Future Air Receiver will start losing items at the speed around ??? mph.
